Need a little electrical help?

If you live in Sonoma county, you’ve come to the right person.

Thanks for stopping by! You are probably here to see what I’m about… Maybe I gave you a business card when we met, maybe a friend or relative passed my card on. Either way, here’s my deal:

I am a highly skilled technician with a breadth of knowledge especially pertaining to residential electrical systems. I am a certified residential journeyman electrician -NOT a C-10 contractor, to be clear.-

Since 2005 I have been working with residential wiring and equipment. From wiring new homes under construction (rough-in) to installing devices, programming and troubleshooting… If it is installed in a home and uses electricity, I probably have experience with it. For many years I worked for large organizations and provided a premium level of service and quality work… at a high cost. The reality of these companies is that although they may provide a great result, they have massive overhead. This results in a high repair bill and high-pressure selling tactics to support high overhead. Sometimes choosing these big companies makes sense, sometimes you need a big team to support a big job, but…

Sometimes you just need a little help.

What can I help you with?

  • Electrical troubleshooting of residential lighting, outlets, circuits and just about any electrical equipment installed in your home.
  • Light fixture repairs and swap-outs, can light LED upgrades.
  • Outlets, Dimmers, Switches, GFCIs and circuit breaker replacements.
  • Expanding outlet boxes for additional receptacles.
  • Specialty/smart hardware (client supplied only).
  • Smoke detector replacement – same as above.
  • Smart home system design and programming.
  • Small appliance installation and troubleshooting.
  • Permit review and assistance for electrical installations.
  • Landscape lighting systems.
  • Low-voltage wiring – cat5 and coaxial runs.

What CAN’T I help you with?

  • Any job over $500.
  • New dedicated circuits or electrical panel installations.
  • Jobs requiring plumbing, ducting or framing – I DO rough patch my drywall holes however.
  • Any work requested to be done out of code compliance.
  • Jobs I deem too high risk or that I don’t feel comfortable doing.
